Questions

  • 2factor authentication included in the software line (2.4k), this appears to be a duplicate service of CM duo - 2 factor authentication. is it? If so, why?
  • What is IMC software ($35k)?
    • IMC software is an arrest database used by the police department PD.
  • Why are we holding 4 positions open? Suggest budgeting 2 and then reassessing next year. I’m not sure we could train that many officers if hired or that we could find 4 qualified candidates.
  • How many patrol vehicles do we have? Budget includes 50k for vehicle maintenance.
  • Investigation supplies are budgeted below 2026 expenditures. How will this impact service?
  • Why does PD have separate Zoom workplace subscription?
  • How much is a uniform? currently budgeting $5,500 for 3 uniforms annually.
  • Why is police more expensive than fire?
    • Police has an older/more experienced department than fire. There are more people at higher ranks in the police department than in the fire department.
